What can you say, these guys have been in the computer based audio biz since the very beginning.
Power Tracks Pro Audio
If you want a sequencer to start with this program has lots to offer for not a lot of dollars, really unbelievable value.
Ableton Live
A radical new idea in sequencers. Incorporates live looping capabilities.
M-Powered Pro-Tools
Pro-Tools has long been the defacto program of choice for many major studios but in the past it had been tied to some very expensive hardware. Not long ago M-Audio changed all of this by offering a version of Pro-Tools compatible with it's own hardware line, a much less expensive line of audio equipment, making Pro-Tools a very attractive option for the home audio enthusiast.
Band In a Box
Not exactly a sequencer but an extremely interesting production program. Band In a Box is an accompaniment program. It will generate a professional sounding 5 part arrangement based on a lead sheet. Check it out. Very useful tool and learning aid.
