A flute player in high school back in the day, Glenn's early flute influences were Ian Anderson, Moe Koffman and Herbie Mann.
Jazz fusion and the saxophone replaced the flute and Glenn moved to Toronto, the center of the Canadian music world.
Glenn played saxophone and led a fusion band in and around Toronto in the early 80's.
Music eventually took a back seat to family commitments and a long musical hiatus ensued.
A Kingston area resident for the past 15 years, Glenn returned to the flute in 2000 after a jazz epiphany while listening to Chet Baker on a overcast winters day.
A lover of melody, Glenn finds the flute the perfect vehicle for his musical endeavors.
